Turn out that recent accusations that the Bush Administration secretly intervened to block California’s tough emissions standards were true.

Now, why you might ask, would the White House secretly work to block efforts to make the environment healthier for humans? Or other Bush-appointed agency directors? Or Cheney? Or corporations that donated to the Bush campaign?

I have no idea. Surely our own government wouldn’t try to compromise the health of millions in favor of corporations, would they?
