Why does the US reject climate change policy that the rest of the G8 members (France, Russia, UK, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, EU representatives) are willing to consider or even adopt?
Why did the US reject the Kyoto Protocol that 141 or more nations have adopted?
[Update, 5.30.2007] Newspeak is alive and well. Bush, despite roundly rejecting almost every policy attempt to fight global warming (including the Kyoto Protocol), is now calling for 15 nations to set global emissions goals.
